About EABL
East African Breweries brews and distils beer and spirits from Nairobi, with subsidiaries in Kenya (KBL), Uganda and Tanzania. It began in 1922 as Kenya Breweries and took its current name after a 1936 merger; it has been listed on the NSE since 1954. Brands include Tusker, White Cap, Pilsner and Senator. Diageo, the majority shareholder, announced in December 2025 that it would sell its stake to Japan's Asahi.
