What this site is
KenyaStocks publishes closing prices, company facts, plain-English guides and links to news about companies listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. It is information and general education only. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not, please do not use it.
Nothing here is investment advice, and KenyaStocks is not licensed by the Capital Markets Authority. The Disclaimer says this in full.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We take care with every number, but we give no warranty that any price, figure, date or headline is accurate, complete or current. Data can arrive late, a source can publish an error, and a page can be out of date. Check any figure you intend to act on against your stockbroker's records or the exchange's own publications.
End-of-day data
Prices, changes and index values are the exchange's official closing figures, taken each evening from Kingdom Securities' published daily report; volumes, company figures and, until that report is out, the day's last traded price are supplied by Mansa Markets once a trading day. No page shows a live intraday price. Daily prices before 1 July 2026 come from two open datasets. A security that is suspended or not yet in the feed says so instead of showing a figure.
Third-party links
Headlines link to the publishers who wrote them, and guides link to brokers, regulators and public datasets. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for what they publish or for a link that stops working.
Intellectual property
The text, page design and code of KenyaStocks are ours. You may quote a page with a link back to it; you may not copy the site, republish the price tables at scale or present its data as your own service.
Headlines belong to the publishers who wrote them. KenyaStocks reproduces only the headline, the publisher's name, the date and a link, which is reporting of current events with acknowledgement under Part A of the Second Schedule to the Copyright Act (Cap. 130). We do not copy article text. A publisher's image is shown only where that publisher has permitted it; until then a generated tile with the company's logo stands in, and the image's address is held only so it can be shown once permission exists.
Company logos are the trade marks of their owners and are shown at small size only to identify the listed company; they are never altered and imply no endorsement. Market data is supplied by Mansa Markets under its terms; the 2006–2026 price history is used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence and the brokers' daily reports with acknowledgement, all credited on About.
Acceptable use
- Do not crawl the site at a rate that degrades it for others; `robots.txt` states what automated agents may fetch.
- Do not frame the site or remove the attribution to the data provider or to publishers.
- Do not use the site to misrepresent a company's price or to circulate a headline out of context.
Corrections and takedowns
If you own a headline, logo or other material shown here and want it removed or changed, or if a figure or headline about your company is wrong, write to hello@kenyastocks.co.ke with the page address, what is wrong and, for a rights claim, who you are and why you hold the right.
A headline is removed and its publisher can be excluded from future collection; a logo is replaced with the company's initials; a wrong figure is corrected or withdrawn until the source confirms it. This follows the notice-and-takedown procedure in the Copyright Act.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, KenyaStocks and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on anything published on it, including loss from a trading decision, a delayed or incorrect price or an unavailable page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them or about the site.
