About Britam
Britam Holdings is a financial services group offering life, general and health insurance, asset management, retirement planning and property. It began in Nairobi in 1965 as a branch of British-American Insurance Company and was locally incorporated in 1979. It listed on the NSE in 2011 and took the Britam name in 2015. It operates in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, Mozambique and Malawi.
