About KCB Group
KCB Group is a banking holding company whose roots go back to 1896, when the National Bank of India opened a branch in Mombasa; the government took full ownership in 1970 and renamed it Kenya Commercial Bank. It listed on the NSE in 1988 and is cross-listed in Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. Subsidiaries include KCB Bank Kenya, National Bank of Kenya, TMB in DR Congo and banks in Uganda, Tanzania and South Sudan.
