About Kenya Airways
Kenya Airways is Kenya's national carrier, set up by the government in 1977 after the collapse of East African Airways. It flies passenger and cargo services from its hub at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, owns Jambojet and has been a SkyTeam member since 2007. It was privatised and listed on the NSE in 1996 at KES 11.25 a share; the government and KQ Lenders Co. are the largest shareholders.
