About CIC Group
CIC Insurance Group provides general, medical and life insurance, pensions and asset management through CIC General Insurance, CIC Life Assurance and CIC Asset Management in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Malawi. It began in 1968 within the Kenya National Federation of Co-operatives and was licensed as an insurer in 1978. Co-operative Bank of Kenya is its largest shareholder; it listed on the NSE on 18 July 2012.
