About Eveready
Eveready East Africa markets Eveready batteries and distributes Schick razors and Clorox household products in Kenya and the region. It began in 1967 as Union Carbide Kenya and took its current name in 2004, listing on the NSE in 2006 through an IPO at KES 9.50 a share. Its Nakuru battery factory closed in 2014 and the company now earns from trading and property. The Sameer Group is the majority owner.
