About Liberty Kenya
Liberty Kenya Holdings is an insurance holding company whose subsidiaries are Liberty Life Assurance Kenya (formerly CfC Life) and Heritage Insurance, operating in Kenya and Tanzania. It began in 1964 as Kenya American Insurance Company, was acquired by CfC Bank in 2004 and listed on the NSE in 2011 as CfC Insurance Holdings after a demerger from CfC Stanbic. Liberty Holdings of South Africa is the majority owner.
