About Deacons
Deacons (East Africa) was a fashion retailer that ran franchise stores for brands such as Mr Price, Adidas, Bossini and 4U2 at malls including Sarit Centre, Yaya Centre and Two Rivers. It listed on the NSE in 2016. The company was placed under administration in November 2018 and trading in its shares on the NSE has been suspended since 19 November 2018; its assets were put up for sale in 2020.
